Which Part of Phuket is Best for Me?

Best Areas in Phuket for Active First-Timers: Kata, Karon, Patong
Patong is your first pick if this is your first visit to Phuket and you want everything close and simple to reach but don’t mind crowded beaches.
North of the beach is large and lovely and less congested. Next will be the Kata and Karon beaches; both offer excellent beaches but with less crowds. Although dining and shopping are readily accessible, the nightlife is much calmer than in Patong.

Many visitors to Phuket looking for places to stay usually begin with Patong Beach. Originally one of Phuket’s most stunning beaches, Patong become famous with the younger generation for its well-known party vibe.

Kata is the second most popular beach in Phuket. Although the beach might become busy in the summer, it usually offers the right mix between calm and excessive crowding.
From cheap to mid-range, you may easily find restaurants offering various kinds of food, including decent Thai food. Who is Kata Beach for?
Kata Beach is perfect for individuals who want everything near but feel Patong too busy and dominating.
You lack transportation, hence vacationing at a far beach is ideal.
Everything is more or less within walking distance—unless you booked your accommodation on the back road!
